Formatting an external hard drive in an external enclosure?

Depending on what brand the hard drive is, you can download the hard disk tool for it. For example, seagate uses seagate tools. The reason you see two drives is because there was two partitions on the Drive. You can use the program to combine it back into one partition as well as format them.
